Spring 2017 has been the most humbling semester yet. Out of the approximately 1000 student organizations at the University of Florida, the Pre-Dental Society has been awarded the 2017 Outstanding Academic/Professional Organization of the year by the University of Florida Department of Student Activities and Involvement. Our club was recognized for our achievements in member recruitment, professional development, diversity, and applicability of our active service projects. Moreover, our 2016-2017 club president Carson Smith was named the 2017 William G. Cross Officer of the Year! He was recognized for his contributions to the Pre-Dental Society, his impact on membership, and his outstanding leadership skills. We are incredibly proud of the dedication from not only our executive board, but also our members to achieve these awards.
