Here are just a few of the many amazing projects we take part in to serve our community. Our members love attending these kinds of events to give back through service and to meet one another and develop lasting friendships! We hope to have you join us!
BLBE
Brighter Lipstick Bigger Earrings is a project that our members enjoy completing every year! It allows us to practice manual dexterity through crafting fun earrings out of supplies and colorful beads. They are then donated to patients undergoing chemotherapy radiation to brighten their days!
Knots of Love
One fan-favorite project of ours is Knots of Love. This project consists of members using looms in order to knit hats for adults and children. The hats created by our members are then donated. Not only is it lots of fun, but it also allows us to practice our manual dexterity that we will utilize in dental school!
Balance 180
Our members work with the staff at Balance 180 to host events and maintain a clean environment. These events are a great way to connect with the community and help support a local non-profit organization!
Mobile Dental Bus
The Mobile Dental Bus is a great way to gain hands-on clinical experience! Participants work to provide care to underserved communities, supporting those who need it most. This event introduces members to community service in dentistry.
Baby Gator
Members visited Baby Gator and taught them about oral hygiene! The kids completed engaging activities to help them learn how to take care of their teeth. We even had our own tooth fairy!
