Officers
Fall 2015 was a growing period for UF Pre-Dental Society. Coming out of Spring 2015 with ~20 members, Fall 2015 boasted over 220+ pre-dental students being involved at some level with Pre-Dental Society. We ended the semester with 57 active members. In additon to an overwhelming growth in membership, Pre-Dental Society grew in its three areas of focus-- service, fundraising, and socials. From collecting 132 lbs. of food to donate

to local food shelters, sorting over 4,000 lbs. of food at local food shelters, walking countless miles with dogs at the humane society, creating 500+ 'tooth fairy' bags for Acorn Dental, to funding a birthday party for a child in need, the members of Pre-Dental Society were of service to the Gainesville community. Pre-Dental Society isn't all service though, through our fun fundraisers such as, a give-back night at Blaze and a painting party we were able to help fund amazing events and service projects. Lastly, members connected with each other through multiple socials. We met fellow students with the same passion and interests we hold during events such as a trip to Downtown Disney, visiting the local haunted house, attending UFCD's Mighty Molar, and lastly a Thanksgiving Potluck.
With the close of 2015 we set some goals for the future. We hope to continue to foster the relationships between our members. As always, we are wanting to recruit more amazing members. During Spring 2016, we will enact two new continuing service projects to help further impact those around us.
